Those of you with good eyes, may have noticed some new little boxes appear here and there, if not, check the comments form below or navigate up a level to the blog category.

Well, these are part of a new component that we are testing and will be released shortly.

The component allows for registered or non-registered visitors to be able to register to a Category, User or Comments simply by either entering their email address if not registered or logged in, or if already logged in, just by clicking the subscribe button.

Within the K2 category you have an additional three options to select specific subcribe functions:

• Allow Category subscription, creates the subscribe function.
• Allow public subscription, simply enter email address and not have to be registered.
• Show subscribers Count, shown in the subscription field in the category.

Further tools are added to the backup to monitor the number of subscribers.
